This beverage is so valued in our country that every last Saturday of February, the National Tereré Day is celebrated.

Ingredients
6 tablespoons of yerba mate
Ice cubes
1 liter of cold water
1 lemon sliced with the peel
Cooling remedies to taste
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this refreshing beverage, start by placing ice at the bottom of the thermos and add the cooling remedies crushed.
Step 2 : Fill the thermos with cold water and then fill the gourd halfway with yerba mate, shaking it well.
Step 3 : Pour a little water into the gourd and let it sit so it can be absorbed.
Step 4 : Insert the bombilla (metal straw), and you can begin to enjoy this delicious infusion.
Step 5 : If desired, add more water according to your preference.
Step 6 : Try pairing it with fruits or herbs containing sugar for an even more enjoyable flavor.
