Ingredients

1 kilogram of Beef chuck

150 grams of Smoked bacon

1 Large chopped onion

3 Sliced leeks

2 Chopped carrots

1 can of Small tomato purée

1 Bouillon cube

1 can of Sweet corn kernels

1 can of Green peas

1 can of Mushrooms

1 Yellow pepper

1 Red pepper, chopped

1 cup of Wine

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Sweet paprika

1 A handful of parsley

2 tablespoons of Flour

Water, as needed

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this stew, start by cutting the beef into small pieces and set aside.

Step 2 : In a pot with a little hot oil, add the chopped onions and sliced leeks to brown them.

Step 3 : Add the carrots and season with a bit of salt for the vegetables to start sweating.

Step 4 : After a few minutes, add the chopped bell peppers and mix everything well.

Step 5 : Dredge the meat with flour, removing the excess, and add it to the pot over medium heat.

Step 6 : Stir with a wooden spoon until the meat begins to change color.

Step 7 : At this point, add the tomato purée, wine, bouillon cube, half a cup of water, and mushrooms.

Step 8 : Mix everything until it begins to boil and the alcohol evaporates.

Step 9 : Add a bit more salt, paprika, and pepper to taste.

Step 10 : After a few minutes, reduce the heat and cover the mixture to cook until the meat is tender, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.

Step 11 : It's recommended to stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom.

Step 12 : Add the corn and cook for 10 minutes before adding the peas.

Step 13 : Adjust seasonings, add chopped parsley or chives, and serve hot.
