Chipa Pirú
Ingredients
100 grams of Beef fat
2 Eggs
150 grams of Grated Paraguayan cheese
300 grams of Cassava starch
¼ teaspoon of Anise
1 teaspoon of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the Chipa Pirú, first turn on the oven to 170°C and grease a baking tray.
Step 2 : In a bowl, beat the beef fat until creamy, then add the salt, eggs one by one, and the cheese, mixing well.
Step 3 : Next, incorporate the starch and mix until a uniform dough forms.
Step 4 : Divide the dough into 30 portions and form sticks that are joined together to shape a ring.
Step 5 : Place these rings on the previously greased tray.
Step 6 : Bake at 170°C for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 150°C and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
Step 7 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let cool.
