Ingredients

¼ kilogram of Ground meat

1 kilogram of Potatoes

½ cup of Warm milk

50 grams of Butter

1 Garlic clove

3 Tomatoes

1 Onion

1 Green pepper

1 Red pepper

1 pinch of White wine

1 pinch of Cumin

1 Beaten egg

¼ kilogram of Grated cheese

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To begin, wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into cubes.

Step 2 : Then, boil them with garlic and salt.

Step 3 : Once cooked, mash and mix with butter and warm milk.

Step 4 : While preparing the mashed potatoes, chop garlic, onion, and peppers.

Step 5 : Next, sauté them in hot oil and add white wine, meat, cumin, and crushed tomato.

Step 6 : Cook this mixture and set aside.

Step 7 : Afterward, butter a baking dish and place a layer of mashed potatoes at the bottom.

Step 8 : Next, add the meat filling over the mashed potatoes and cover with another layer of mashed potatoes.

Step 9 : To finish, brush the pie with beaten egg, sprinkle grated cheese, and oregano.

Step 10 : Bake until golden.

Step 11 : Once ready, enjoy this delicious potato pie accompanied by a fresh salad.
