Step 3 : After that time, place the saucepan on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally until it begins to thicken.
Step 4 : Once the mixture is thickened, continue stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it reaches the desired consistency.
Step 5 : To know if the dulce de leche has reached the right point, you can put a little on a plate and observe if it stays thick when cooled and doesn’t slide.
Step 6 : Another indicator is when, while stirring, you can see the bottom of the pan where the dulce de leche is cooking.
