Homemade Caigua de Aguaí
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Waterí
800 grams of Sugar
½ liter of Water
2 tablespoons of Vanilla
2 tablespoons of Lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1 : Waterís are carefully washed and brought to a boil until nearly tender.
Step 2 : After draining and rinsing with cold water, remove the seeds from the fruit.
Step 3 : Next, prepare a syrup by heating a saucepan with water and sugar, then add vanilla to form the syrup.
Step 4 : Add the waterí and lemon juice to the syrup, and cook the mixture for an hour and a half.
Step 5 : Finally, let it cool and serve in dessert cups.
