½ kilogram of Pumpkin
275 milliliters of Water
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Salt
2 tablespoons of Butter
500 grams of Cornstarch
100 grams of Paraguayan cheese
Preparation
Step 1 : Peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds.
Step 2 : Then, cut it into pieces and boil in water with salt and sugar until tender.
Step 3 : Once cooked, drain and mash the pumpkin into a purée.
Step 4 : Reserve the cooking water and pour the pumpkin purée into it.
Step 5 : Cook the mixture for one minute over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Step 6 : Add the butter and cornstarch, mixing well.
Step 7 : Then, add the cheese, mix again, and remove from heat.
Step 8 : Allow to cool before serving.
