Mazamorra (the 'kaguyjy')
Ingredients

250 grams of Locro
1 liter of Milk
2 liters of Water
¼ teaspoon of Baking soda
1 Cinnamon roll
Orange peel
2 cups of Sugar
Vanilla essence
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the locro, it is recommended to soak it the night before.
Step 2 : Then, it should be washed and placed in a pot with water, orange peel, and cinnamon, bringing to medium heat for about 1 hour until the grains soften.
Step 3 : If the water evaporates, add hot water to continue cooking.
Step 4 : When the corn is half cooked, add baking soda and mix.
Step 5 : Once nearly ready, add milk, sugar, and vanilla, stirring until the grains are fully soft and boiling for a few more minutes.
Step 6 : Finally, serve cold, sprinkled with a little honey or molasses, and a dusting of cinnamon powder on top.
