Ingredients

500 grams of Cornmeal

1 liter of Milk

1 cup of Cane or black honey

Orange zest

Ground cinnamon

1 pinch of Salt

½ cup of Sugar

¼ cup of Water

Preparation

Step 1 : First, prepare a caramel with sugar and water, letting it caramelize and setting it aside.

Step 2 : In a saucepan, place the milk and wait for it to start heating.

Step 3 : Then, gradually add the cornmeal while stirring constantly.

Step 4 : Next, stir in the honey, a pinch of salt, orange zest, and cinnamon into the mixture in the saucepan.

Step 5 : Mix well and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 6 : Finally, serve the hot mixture, drizzled with the caramel sauce set aside earlier.
