The Bean Broth with Cheese is a traditional soup from Guarani cuisine, rich in proteins. The beans are cooked with onion, garlic, tomato, and pepper, then cheese and green onion are added. It is served hot with corn tortillas. A comforting delight.
To prepare the bean broth with cheese, the beans should be soaked and washed before cooking.
In a pot, sauté onions, garlic, tomatoes, and peppers, then add the cooked beans, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Add water and cook over medium heat before adding the cheese and chopped green onions.
Serve very hot accompanied by corn tortillas.

Bean Broth with Cheese
Ingredients

½ kilogram of Beans
1 Onion
2 Tomatoes
1 Green bell pepper
3 Cloves of garlic
200 grams of Paraguayan cheese
1 Handful of parsley
1 Handful of green onions
500 milliliters of Water
Cooking oil
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : The beans should be soaked for 24 hours and then washed before cooking with enough water for approximately 2 hours until tender.
Step 2 : In a pot, sauté the onions, garlic, tomatoes, and peppers in some oil.
Step 3 : Then add the cooked beans, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper, also adding water, and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
Step 4 : Finally, add the cheese and chopped green onions, remove from heat, and serve very hot accompanied by corn tortillas.
