Paraguayan Puchero
Ingredients

1 kilogram of Beef shank (meat with bone)
3 Chopped garlic cloves
1 Diced onion
1 Green bell pepper, chopped into cubes
2 Sliced carrots
300 grams of Chopped squash
250 grams of Cubed potatoes
80 grams of Rice
2 Corn cobs
6 tablespoons of Oil
1 ½ liter of Water
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper

Step 1 : In a pot, heat a little oil and sauté the garlic with the onion and bell pepper.
Step 2 : Then, add the meat and sear it, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3 : Next, add the water and cook for approximately 45 minutes, until the meat is tender.
Step 4 : Subsequently, add the corn, potatoes, carrots, squash, and rice to the pot.
Step 5 : Cook for about 20 more minutes, keeping an eye on the doneness of the ingredients.
