Surubí Broth
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Surubí
1 Onion
2 Tomatoes
2 Bell peppers
1 Medium carrot
2 Potatoes
2 Garlic cloves
½ cup of Cooked peas
2 Vegetable broth cubes
1 Handful of fresh parsley
1 tablespoon of Oregano
500 milliliters of Milk
1 tablespoon of Cream
2 tablespoons of Oil
Paraguayan cheese
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the recipe, clean the fish and cut it into large pieces.
Step 2 : Then, prepare the vegetable broth in a pot by heating water and dissolving the broth cubes, setting it aside once it boils.
Step 3 : In another pot, heat oil and sauté the onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and garlic for a few minutes.
Step 4 : Next, add the chopped carrots and potatoes, stirring well and cooking for 5 minutes.
Step 5 : Then, add the seasoned fish with salt and pepper, followed by the broth, and let it cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 6 : Add the milk, oregano, and chopped parsley, bringing to a boil for 2 minutes.
Step 7 : Finally, add the cream, peas, and Paraguayan cheese, and serve very hot.
