Ingredients

2 Potatoes cut into cubes

100 grams of Tayao leaves

1 Onion

25 grams of Lard

25 grams of Oil

3 cups of Vegetable broth

150 grams of Cream

1 Garlic clove

Pinch of nutmeg

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a saucepan, add a little oil and lard.

Step 2 : Wait for the lard to melt, then add chopped onion, a pinch of salt, and garlic.

Step 3 : Sauté everything until transparent.

Step 4 : Add the potatoes and vegetable broth, cooking for several minutes until the potatoes are soft.

Step 5 : At this point, incorporate the tayao leaves cut into strips and the nutmeg.

Step 6 : Let it boil for about 3 minutes.

Step 7 : Then, remove from heat and blend the mixture with an immersion blender or regular blender.

Step 8 : Return the soup to the stove, add a bit more broth for a thinner consistency.

Step 9 : Add the cream and adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Step 10 : Cook for 2 minutes and then serve to enjoy.
